Early to Rise: The exhibit will be open on weekdays through October and on weekends by appointment.



The Orange County Veterans Picnic was an annual event sponsored by the coalition of the 27 veterans groups in Orange County. This year's picnic kicked off a new program sponsored by the newly-formed Orange County Arts Council, with the backing of the Orange County Executive and the Legislature called ARTS FOR VETS. "Arts for Vets" is offering a wide range of ongoing arts-related activities for military families in Orange County. "Arts for Vets" reaches beyond the stereotype of what art is, and reaches the artist in everyone.

The mural shown in the photos below will be sent to Orange County service people on active duty. Here are some pictures from the picnic and of the mural in progress. Click on pictures to view larger images. Photos are graciously provided by Andy Komonchak of ARK Graphics.
